To celebrate the end of the year and bask in the sunshine, I’m hosting a small cacao ceremony and gathering in the park on Wednesday the 22nd of December at 1pm in Warrandyte.
This event will be super low cost, as a thank you to my community with a contribution of $50 to cover expenses.
Please BYO mug for cacao.
About cacao
Cacao is a powerful plant medicine for manifestation and spiritual healing. Sitting in ceremony with cacao is about honouring things deeply and allowing all parts of yourself to show up, be seen and be held. Cacao supports you to connect on a deeper level, bring clarity and expand the wisdom in your heart whilst offering safety, protection and strength.
Why cacao?
Cacao has been used for thousands of years by the Aztecs, Mayans and Olmecs, as a food for the gods in rituals, royal feasts and so valuable and rare that is was also used as currency and worth more than gold.
Drinking rare Hawaiian cacao
In these ceremonies, we use only Hawaiian Cacao (Cuatro Manos y Cinco Volcanes). Why? Because Hawaiian Cacao is the rarest and costliest cacao in the world. Grown on the mountain of Mauna Kea (the most sacred mountain in Hawaii) on the Hamakua Coast known as the breath of god. This cacao is rich in volcanic energy, the lifeblood of mother earth, creating powerful energy for manifestation and setting new intentions.
This cacao is also rare and unique as no child labour is used (unlike in Africa and South and Central America), harvest workers are paid USA living wages, all sustainably made, single origin, fewer plantings, hand harvested, hand winnowed - Tree to disc.
Ceremony
Ash has been granted permission by their native indigenous teacher and the elders of their linage to hold ceremony. This has meant she has undergone rigorous training to learn the safe and grounded energetics practices behind using cacao as a sacred plant medicine. It is an honour and privilege to be granted such permission.
Join Ash as she weaves the magic of cacao with Sound to support you in a safe and intimate journey, opening your heart and guiding you home to yourself.
Please note: 10% of all proceeds are donated back to the cacao plantation to support ethical and sustainable cacao farming and indigenous teachings.
