This month we journey with the theme of grounding; harnessing the personal strength and power that is created when we are fully connected to our selves and the energy of the earth.
We journey together with the healing frequencies of the Tibetan singing bowls and gong, guided by one of Melbourne’s leading Sound Healers and Teachers.
This is an invitation for a sacred pause and journey inwards, an opportunity to restore balance and harmony between your mind, body and essence.
Whether you are new to sound healing or have experienced it before, this sound healing is open to all who are seeking relaxation, inner peace and a journey of self-discovery and healing.
Yoga mats, bolsters and blankets are provided. Please bring anything else that will enhance your comfort including; a comfortable cushion, an eye mask or favourite crystal. Wear comfortable clothing that allows for ease of movement and ensure you are hydrated prior to the session.
What is Sound Healing?
Sound Healing is an ancient energy healing technique that uses vibration and frequencies to bring the body into a state of balance and harmony. The harmonising produced by the singing bowls and other therapeutic instruments, creates a soothing effect throughout the entire body that creates clear energy channels and facilitates healing on a physical, mental and spiritual level.
The Power of Sound
Everything has a vibrational frequency, including ourselves and therefore sound frequencies impact how we feel. Sound Healing works on the energy system of the body. Vibrations travel through air and water, and as the human body is approximately 70% water, it can become receptive to receiving vibrations.
When sound healing instruments including singing bowls are played or sung they create vibrational sound harmonics. These sound harmonies can eliminate vibrational disorder within the body, bringing it back to its optimal vibrational balance.
